Media has called Allison Howell Williams a terror queen because of her career in horror films. She gained fame for playing Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy drama Girls which ran between 2012 and 2017. The role garnered her nominations for Critics Choice Awards. Her big break came when she played her role as Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), that earned her nominations from The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among other accolades.
